BIO
Dr. Amanda Farris is an assistant professor of Neonatology. She grew up in western Kentucky before moving to Louisville where she completed medical school, pediatrics residency, and neonatal fellowship at the University of Louisville. She has a strong interest in medical education and is an assistant program director for the neonatal fellowship program. Her areas of clinical interest are care of infants with congenital heart disease, ECMO and care of infants requiring surgical interventions while in the NICU, and developmental follow-up of high risk neonates. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and knitting.
