Yunze Mu is a composer, sound artist and music programmer based in Louisville, Kentucky. He is currently teaching at University of Louisville, School of Music as Assistant Professor. He received a DMA (Doctor of Musical Arts) in Composition at the College-Conservatory of Music, University of Cincinnati, where he studies computer music with Mara Helmuth, and works on his web-based music application, Web RTcmix. Mu holds a bachelor’s degree in music composition from Central Conservatory of Music, Beijing, China. His music, papers, AI-based installation and VR installations have been shown and performed at numerous events and conferences, such as NIME, ICMC, SEAMUS, NYC Electronic Music Festival, and venues in China, Poland, France, United States, and Korea.
