BIO

Davis Hale is a saxophonist with a passion for contemporary music and an educator who is deeply invested in the growth and success of his students. Recent endeavors include a performance of Roger Zare's Hanuno'o Colors for Saxophone Ensemble at the 2026 North American Saxophone Alliance Biennial Conference with the University of Louisville Saxophone Ensemble, a staging of Chen Yi's Not Alone with original choreography, as well as heading a consortium for a work by renowned composer Tyler Taylor. Taylor's work, Recollections for Alto Saxophone and Piano, was premiered with Adrienne Fontenot at the International Saxophone Symposium in 2025.
