BIO

Sean Mulhall is an adjunct lecturer in Music History at the University of Louisville School of Music.  He has taught many classes on various topics, including World Music, Rock-and-Roll, Country Music, Caribbean and Latin American Music, and American Popular Music, for over twenty-five years.  As a drummer and percussionist, he has performed and recorded with numerous Rock bands and Jazz combos.  He also performed as a member of ensembles playing Irish Traditional Music, Afro-Cuban Folkloric Music (Rumba), Puerto Rican Folk Music (Bomba and Plena), Middle-Eastern Traditional and Popular Music, Eastern European Music, Andean Traditional Music (Panpipes) and Brazilian Popular Music (Samba).  Sean is also an avid pickleball player and instructor.
