Dr. Kevin Nordstrom is currently Senior Lecturer of Viola at the University of Louisville and leads a busy career as performer, recording artist, teacher, and scholar. He has concertized, taught, and lectured in North and South America, Europe, and Asia. As a chamber musician, he performs regularly with university colleagues and as violist of the Aurelian String Trio. His albums are distributed by OClassica Records and the American Viola Society Record Label; his performance videos can be found on his Vimeo page. Dr. Nordstrom is a dedicated teacher and pedagogue, being an active member of the American String Teachers Association (ASTA), the American and International Viola Societies, the College Music Society (CMS), and state level Music Educators Associations where is regularly invited to contribute his performance and pedagogical work to their conferences and publications.
