Dr. Aaron C. Rollins Jr. serves as Chair of the Department of Urban and Public Affairs and Director of the Master of Public Administration Program at the University of Louisville, where he has transformed academic leadership through innovative student engagement and collaborative partnerships. Since 2014, he has built bridges between theory and practice, actively recruiting the next generation of public servants while mentoring colleagues across higher education.

Dr. Rollins’s commitment to student success and academic excellence has earned him numerous honors, including multiple UofL Student Champion Awards, recognition in the ACC Academic Leadership Network, UofL Faculty Favorite, Who’s Who of Louisville, the Minority Access Inc. National Faculty Role Model Award, and designation as an American Society of Public Administration Founders Fellow. These accolades reflect his dedication to mentorship, innovation, and advancing good governance through public service education.
