Alan F. Smith, EdD, CCC-SLP is Division Chief of Communicative Disorders, Director of Undergraduate and Graduate Speech-Langauge Pathology programs, and Professor in the Department of Otolaryngology and Communicative Disorders at the University of Louisville. Dr. Smith holds a Bachelor of Science in speech-language pathology from Western Kentucky University (2001), a Master of Science in speech-language pathology from the Univeresity of Louisville (2003), and a Doctor of Education in educational leadership from Liberty University (2014). Dr. Smith has clinical experience working with individuals across the lifespan in settings such early intervention, the neonatal intensive care unit, and pediatric and adult acute care and outpatient clinics. He joined the faculty in 2008.
