Professor Lacey works within the department of Elementary, Middle, and Secondary Education (EMSTEd). She also works in the Office of Educator Development and Clinical Practice (OEDCP) as a Placement and Paperwork Coordinator, especially when it comes to the Student Teaching Application. Her research focuses on refugee education, immigration history and policy, social studies education, and curricular content analysis through a postcolonial lens.
