Dr. Ana Alvarez received her Bachelor of Science in Biology and Psychology from the University of California San Diego, Masters of Science in Biotechnology from Johns Hopkins University, medical degree from Georgetown University, and completed her pediatrics residency at the University of Louisville. She then completed a Pediatric Dermatology Fellowship at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center. Dr. Alvarez joined the faculty at UofL in 2026 in the Department of Pediatrics.
