Angela D. Mehringer, DNP, RN, CHSE is an experienced nursing educator and clinician with a strong background in simulation-based education and community/public health nursing. Currently serving as an Assistant Professor at the University of Louisville School of Nursing, she has taught a wide range of undergraduate courses. Dr. Mehringer serves as the Owensboro Extension Simulation Faculty expert. She is actively involved in professional organizations and community service. The primary focus of Dr. Mehringer’s scholarly and creative work is dvancing pre-licensure nursing education through simulation and innovative teaching strategies. Her scholarly works reflect her commitment to evidence-based practice and innovation in teaching and learning.
