BIO

Dr. Ansel Tjin-A-Tam serves as an Assisstant Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Louisville School of Medicine and is board certified in both Pediatrics and Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine. He earned his Bachelor's degree in Zoology from the University of Florida and his medical degree from St. Matthew's University School of Medicine. Dr. Tjin-A-Tam completed his pediatric residency at Mount Sinai Hospital (Chicago, IL), where he also served as Chief Resident, followed by fellowship training in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine at Advocate Children's Hospital. He has been practicing as a Neonatologist with Norton Children's Medical Goup in Louisville since 2016 and joined the University of Louisville faculty in 2023. His clinical expertise includes care of the extremely premature infants and advancing clinical leadership within the NICU.
