Professor Bailey Schrupp Eagin serves as electronic legal reference librarian and assistant professor at the Brandeis School of Law. She specializes in legal research education, information management and technology integration, with more than a decade of experience supporting students, faculty and practitioners in navigating complex legal information.

Professor Eagin earned her J.D. from the Brandeis School of Law, where she was notes editor for the Journal of Animal and Environmental Law and completed a certificate in European Union law in Germany. She also holds a master’s degree in library science from the University of Kentucky and a bachelor’s degree in political science and history from Campbellsville University.

Before joining Brandeis, she worked in both academic and private law libraries, including as a research analyst at Hogan Lovells LLP and as an adjunct professor at the University of North Texas at Dallas College of Law, where she taught courses in animal rights law and advanced legal research. She also developed innovative digital tools to enhance learning.

Active in professional service, Professor Eagin has held leadership roles in the American Association of Law Libraries and served as president of the Dallas Association of Law Librarians. She was also selected as a 2020 Fellow in the American Association of Law Libraries Leadership Academy. She has presented nationally on emerging legal research tools and published scholarship on the Fair Housing Act.
