With over a decade of diverse clinical experience, Bailey has worked in Cardiac Stepdown, Emergency Care, Home Health, and Cardiac Care. Her time at the bedside shaped her commitment to patient-centered care and reinforced her passion for educating future nurses. Since transitioning into academia, she has been recognized for her excellence in teaching, receiving multiple "Nursing Faculty Favorite" nominations from the Delphi Center, the School of Nursing Outstanding Faculty Award, and the Student Champion Award.

Bailey is an active member of several professional organizations, including the American Nurses Association, Kentucky Nurses Association, Nurses Christian Fellowship, Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society, and Golden Key International Honor Society.

A native of Owensboro, Kentucky, Bailey is deeply committed to her community. She is actively involved in St. Pius X Church, where she has led retreats and engaged in service initiatives. Her passion for nursing stems from her mother's influence and the compassionate care her family received during her mother's battle with a brain tumor. That experience solidified Bailey's dedication to patient advocacy and nursing educators' role in shaping resilient, compassionate caregivers. Outside of her professional endeavors, Bailey enjoys spending time with her husband, Caleb, and their three children—Jossalyn, Florence, and Shepherd.
