Barbara Kwiecinska, MD is a neurologist with specialized training in epilepsy and clinical neurophysiology. She is currently completing a Neurophysiology Fellowship at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, following an Epilepsy Fellowship there. She completed her Neurology Residency at the University of Louisville, where she served as Chief Resident in her final year.

Dr. Kwiecinska earned her medical degree from Poznan University of Medical Sciences in Poland and has clinical experience in both Poland and the United States. Her areas of interest include epilepsy, seizure disorders, EEG, and neurophysiology.

She has demonstrated a commitment to academic medicine through research and publications, including current work on antiseizure medication pharmacokinetics. Her accomplishments include the Walter L. Olson Resident Award for Continuity of Care and a scholarship to the 2023 AAN Annual Meeting. She is licensed to practice medicine in Kentucky.
