PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

As the Director of the CFCWB, a translational research center for the social sciences, I lead a team of 30 research staff and students on over 70 grants/contracts to conduct rigorous research/evaluation and provide evidence-based training. I serve on two national committees for depression and suicide prevention and have previously served on task forces related to youth and adult relationship research for federal initiatives. I also served on the steering committee for an international organization/conference on violence, abuse and trauma. I also remain actively involved in training/practice in the family therapy community through continuing education programs and service. Lastly, I serve as a reviewer for a number of child welfare, mental health, and trauma journals. For the University community, I am actively involved in initiatives related to artificial intelligence, mental health, and student/employee well-being.
