Bradford G. Hill, PhD, is a Professor of Medicine and University Scholar at the University of Louisville. His research focuses on understanding the metabolic foundations of cardiometabolic health and disease. This includes examining key processes such as glycolysis, mitochondrial function, and biosynthetic pathways, as well as identifying causal links between metabolic changes and (patho)physiological outcomes. Over the past decade, he has served as PI on five NIH R01 grants, a project on a Program Project Grant, and several foundation grants. Dr. Hill has authored over 120 peer-reviewed articles, in areas including heart failure, exercise biology, and nutrition. He has mentored numerous graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, and junior faculty. Dr. Hill also serves on UofL’s Promotion and Tenure Committee and Graduate Council. He is active in numerous societies, including: the American Heart Association, the Society for Free Radical Biology and Medicine, the American Physiological Society, and the International Society of Heart Research.
