BIO

Dr. Brian Ganzel completed his Bachelor of Arts from Doane College in Nebraska in 1974 and graduated from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in 1978. He completed his general surgery residency at the University of Nebraska in 1983 and his Thoracic & Cardiovascular Surgery fellowship at the University of Louisville in 1986.

 

Dr. Ganzel is an Associate Professor in the Department of Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery at UofL. He also serves as the Director of Adult Cardiac Surgery at Jewish Hospital and St. Mary's Healthcare.
