BIO

I am a researcher and educator with over 20 years of experience working in a variety of higher education settings, including 9 years partnering with the United States Army Cadet Command. My work as a researcher provides quantitative and qualitative based evidence to leaders and practitioners to inform organizational change and improvement with an emphasis on data-driven decision-making, equity, and inclusion. My research investigates complex tuition policies and information transparency, sense of belonging and perceptions of campus climate for student veterans and military-connected students, and postsecondary programs and policies. In my role as educator, I have taught students from a variety of backgrounds including members of the military using active learning strategies, and through a variety of mechanisms that advances their knowledge and skill acquisition to support their ability to improve organizations, programs, and policies. I am passionate about conducting research to inform change, evaluate programs and policies, and support organizations working to improve their capacity, effectiveness, and efficiencies.
