Christiano de Oliveira Santos, DDS, MS, PhD, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Diagnosis & Oral Health at the University of Louisville School of Dentistry. He earned his DDS, Oral Radiology certification, and MSc in Dentistry from the Federal University of Bahia in Brazil, followed by a PhD in Dental Sciences/Stomatology from the University of São Paulo. From 2009 to 2010, he served as a visiting scholar at Katholieke Universiteit Leuven in Belgium. Before joining UofL, he was an Associate Professor of Oral Radiology at the University of São Paulo. His academic work includes service on the Editorial Board of Clinical Oral Investigations.
