Christopher James Compton, MD, is an Associate Professor of Ophthalmology at the University of Louisville School of Medicine and a fellowship-trained oculofacial plastic and orbital surgeon. He serves as the Ophthalmology Residency Program Director and Oculofacial Plastic Surgery Fellowship Director, where he is deeply involved in graduate medical education, curriculum development, and trainee mentorship. Dr. Compton holds an endowed chair supporting ethics education, visiting professorships, and resident and fellow teaching initiatives.
