Dr. Cindy Briggs is an Assistant Professor of Management and Entrepreneurship in the University of Louisville College of Business. A Louisville native and two-time UofL graduate, she returned to her hometown to teach at the university where she earned her master’s degree in Higher Education and PhD in Organizational Leadership.

Dr. Briggs brings experience as a business owner, executive, consultant, and educator to her teaching. Before joining UofL, she served as chief operating officer of a multisite healthcare organization and led her own consulting practice. She has taught in undergraduate and graduate programs and facilitated professional learning in leadership, communication, and entrepreneurship.

Outside the classroom, Dr. Briggs enjoys spending time with her husband, Scott, and their son, Jackson. Returning to Louisville has given her family the opportunity to call her hometown home.
