Professor Grapperhaus is a member of the American Chemical Society in the Division of Inorganic Chemistry and the Division of Catalysis Science and Technology. He was the symposium organizer for Gibbs Award at Great Lakes Regional ACS Meeting in 2019 and a co-organizer of the Redox Active Ligands symposiuim at Pacifichem in 2015. He is co-organizing a symposium on Ligand Design for Pacifichem 2025.
