David teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in comparative politics, research design, and American politics. He regularly teaches courses on religion and politics, both in the United States and globally. His research methods courses include training in quantiative and qualitative methodologies, as well as attention to the overall process of rigorous research design. Assessment in his courses focuses on student-driven, original research projects, including survey data analysis, work in university archives, legal simulations, and policy writing.
