David Hannigan, DMD, is a Professor and Clinical Team Leader at the University of Louisville School of Dentistry (ULSD). He teaches both preclinical and clinical general dentistry. A ULSD graduate, Dr. Hannigan holds a BA in Biology and a DMD, and he maintains an active role in the UofL Dental Associates Faculty Practice. His academic interests include innovative teaching methods, with multiple publications examining dental education, simulation‑based learning, and student engagement in evolving curricular models.
