Dean Dayna Touron joined UofL in July 2023 as dean of the College of Arts and Sciences. Dean Touron's passion for empowering students and her belief in the transformative power of a liberal arts education are evident in her vision for Arts and Sciences. With her extensive experience as an administrator and educator, she firmly supports the teacher-scholar model of higher education, emphasizing the importance of involving students in a climate of belonging, contemplation, discovery and real-life application. Under the guidance of Dean Touron, the faculty and staff of the UofL College of Arts & Sciences are furthering its mission of providing students with a transformative education grounded in the liberal arts, empowering them to navigate and understand the complexities of the world we live in.
