Dominique C. Elmore, D.O., is a pediatric emergency medicine physician with Norton Children’s Emergency Medicine, affiliated with the UofL School of Medicine. She joined faculty in August 2023. Dr. Elmore earned her medical degree at the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine, Lewisburg, WV. She completed her residency in pediatrics at Marshall University Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine in Huntington, West Virginia. She completed pediatric emergency medicine fellowship in pediatric emergency medicine at the University of Louisville School of Medicine, as well as point-of-care ultrasound at Norton Children's Hospital.

She believes in communication is key and enjoys forming a relationship with the patient’s family and prioritizing their needs. She also enjoys utilizing point-of care ultrasound into her clinical practice, as well as teaching ultrasound to residents and fellows. She is a mentor with University of Louisville Porter Scholars in Medicine. 

Away from work, Dr. Elmore enjoys Pilates, watching Formula 1 racing, traveling, attending concerts, comedy shows and sporting events. She also is a foodie and enjoys sampling the wide variety of cuisine Louisville has to offer.
