Attended the University of Louisville, J.B. Speed School of Engineering starting to 2004. Completed a B.S., M.Eng. and Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering. Completed research for NSWC - Crane (Undergrad), LoDI (Doctoral Researcher) and the Department of Defense (PostDoc) during her time studying at UofL. Erin began teaching in an adjunct capacity while completing her PostDoc in Fall 2013 and continued as an adjunct through December 2014. She was then hired as a Full Time (Term) Assistant Professor in January 2015. She started serving as Director of Academic Affairs in October 2019. In 2021, Erin was promoted in rank to Associate Professor (Term). Shortly after, she was named Interim Associate Dean for Undergraduate Affairs, a role she was made permanent in the following year (2022).
