Dr. Ed O'Neill completed his training in neonatology at the University of Louisville and joined faculty as an Assistant Professor in 2011 and is currently an Associate Professor with the University of Louisville School of Medicine.   He completed his pediatric residency at the University of South Florida in Tampa, FL in 2008.  He is currently the Medical Director of the Level III NICU at Baptist Health Paducah.  He has overseen the expansion from Level II to Level III NICU and the successful Baptist Neonatal Transport Team serving western Kentucky.  His interests include improving the care we provide neonates in western Kentucky, breastfeeding, improving outcomes, community outreach education.  Outside of medicine, he enjoys time with his wife of 20 years and 5 children.
