My name is Elizabeth Walz, and I am the Director of Clinical Education, and Assistant Professor at the University of Louisville, Department of Otolaryngology and Communicative Disorders. I was born and raised in Louisville, KY and completed my CF in Speech-Language Pathology in Jacksonville, FL. I lived in FL for 5 years with my husband, and we moved back home in 2022 and have two beautiful boys. I have a great passion for the field of speech-language pathology, with a special interest in neurology, dysphagia, and aphasia. I have worked in the acute care setting since 2019, and this is when I developed a passion for continued learning and teaching others. I believe by pursuing teaching and instructing, it has made me a better clinician and has further grown my passion for the medical SLP setting. I look forward to my time at the University of Louisville, and am excited to see what the future holds!
