Elkin Galvis M.D is a Hand microsurgery trained, Orthopediuc surgeon  witth  ULP Kleinert KUtz Hand Center, born in Bogota, Colombia and graduated from the National University School of Medicine in 1999. He joined the Colombian Air Force as a medical commissioner officer for 3 years, did an Orthopedic and Trauma Surgery residency and graduated from Javeriana University. He completed an one-year fellowship at the Christine M. Kleinert Institute for Hand and Microsurgery in Louisville, KY and continued as a Senior Fellow until June 2013.
