Dr McRae developed the Pediatric Acute Care Nurse Practitioner  (PACNP) in the School of Nursing at UofL. She continues to serve as the PACNP specialty track coordinator, overseeing the program and teaching courses, including simulation for pediatric acute care nurse practitioners. Dr McRae also teaches graduate-level leadership courses within the school of nursing. Dr McRae serves as an interdisciplinary educator in her clinical role, teaching Nurse practitioners, nurses, and medical residents and fellows during ICU rounds and with short clinical-based lectures.
