Farshid Ramezanipour is a Professor in the Department of Chemistry. A PhD graduate of McMaster University in Canada (2011), Dr. Ramezanipour was a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Calgary (2011-2013) and an NSERC postdoctoral fellow at the University of California Berkeley (2013-3015), before starting his independent career at the University of Louisville in 2015. 

Dr. Ramezanipour is a Scialog Fellow in Advanced Energy Storage, an Ascending Star Fellow, and a recipient of NSF CAREER award. He was named a 2024 Top Scholar by ScholarGPS for his work on development of materials for oxygen-evolution.
