Dr. Gagandeep Kaur is an Associate Professor in the Department of Pediatrics, Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Psychology, University of Louisville. She currently serves as the Medical Director for Ackerly Inpatient Unit 6C and Emergency Psychiatric Services at Norton Children’s Hospital since 2019.  Dr. Gagandeep Kaur earned her medical degree from Kasturba Medical College, Mangalore (Manipal University), India, in 2003. She completed both her residency in general psychiatry in 2015 and fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry in 2017 at the University of Louisville. She has been with University of Louisville since 2010 and with Norton Healthcare since 2011. Dr. Kaur is passionate about providing service to children, adolescents, and adults with any mental health issues. She loves to teach medical students and residents in both clinical and academic setting.
