Grace Mathai Kuravackel is a board-certified, licensed psychologist who serves as Medical Director of the Norton Children’s Autism Center and Associate Professor in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Louisville School of Medicine. For more than 25 years, she has been deeply engaged in clinical care, research, and education focused on autism spectrum disorder and related conditions. Her work emphasizes early identification, parent support and training, and the development of effective transition supports for youth with ASD.

As a leader, Dr. Kuravackel is committed to creating diagnostic models that are family-centered, efficient, and responsive—providing clear answers while opening pathways to meaningful services. She is equally dedicated to advancing autism interventions through research-driven, evidence-based practices and is actively inolved in a number of research projects. Collaboration with the community remains central to her mission, as she works to strengthen supports for children, youth, and families on the spectrum.

Outside of her professional work, she enjoys reading, gardening, cooking, traveling, hiking, and spending time with her Samoyed, Bianca.
