BIO

I am Neuro-oncologist specializing in the treatment of brain and spinal cord tumors. I serve as the Director of Neuro-Oncology at UofL Health – Brown Cancer Center in Louisville, Kentucky.  I serve as an Assistant Professor of Hematology/Oncology , Neurology and Neurosurgery at the University of Louisville, contributing significantly to both patient care and academic research.

 

At UofL Health – Brown Cancer Center, I focus on several key areas:

 

  • Brain Metastases: Addressing secondary brain tumors originating from cancers elsewhere in the body.
  • Brain Tumor Clinical Trials: Participating in and leading clinical trials to evaluate new treatments for brain tumors.
  • Glioma and Glioblastoma Treatment: Providing advanced care for these aggressive brain tumors.
  • Meningioma and Neurofibromatosis: Specializing in tumors arising from the meninges and nerve sheath.

 

I emphasize individualized, holistic care for patients dealing with complex neurological cancers. I emphasize on  the emotional and psychological challenges of a brain tumor diagnosis and strives to support patients through empathy and comprehensive treatment plans. My approach involves collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to offer the most current and effective therapies available.
