Dr. Gung-Min Gie is a Professor of Mathematics at the University of Louisville. He received his Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from Indiana University in 2010 under the supervision of Prof. Roger Temam.  

His research focuses on the analysis and computation of singularly perturbed partial differential equations, with particular emphasis on boundary layer phenomena, vanishing-parameter limits, and multiscale structures arising in fluid mechanics and related systems.
