Great to connect with you all, my name is Harini Chenna.  I am a Double Board Certified Interventional Pain trained Anesthesiologist practicing at the University of Louisville. I have built an Interventional Pain and wellness program at UofL around the pillars of wellness: nutrition, fitness, mindfulness and ayurvedic medicine.  I believe this foundation is integral when building on it with interventional procedures, neuromodulation, and medication management. 

Promoting healthy habits for wellness drives me. As an elite competitive gymnast in the past, I approach the treatment of pain in a very tailored manner and see every patient treatment plan in an integrative light.  My Interventional Pain and Anesthesiology training combined with my experience in fitness and nutrition plays a large role in the practice that I have developed. It has  helped me care for patients from the OR, providing comprehensive perioperative Anesthesia care, to my outpatient Interventional Pain practice in a unique holistic and integrative manner.

I am very passionate about helping advance the future of both Interventional Pain and Anesthesiology and contributing to the education of the next generation of our residents and fellows, helping equip them with the comprehensive knowledge base and compassion required to optimize patient care as Anesthesiologists and Interventional Pain physicians.

Additionally, I am involved in several Interventional Pain and Anesthesiology societies on a national and international level, involved in global health initiatives with my Neurosurgical colleagues and work with our University of Louisville student athletes, all of which has afforded me a unique opportunity to better understand healthcare dynamics in a broader perspective.
