Dr. Hira Wassem is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Louisville School of Medicine, affiliated with Norton Children’s Medical Group. She currently serves as an attending physician on the Ackerly Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Inpatient Unit at Norton Children’s Hospital. Dr. Waseem earned her medical degree at The Aga Khan University in Karachi, Pakistan. She completed her residency in psychiatry at the University of Louisville School of Medicine, and continued there to complete her fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and a second fellowship in Addiction Psychiatry. She joined the faculty of UofL in 2023.
