Howard Donninger, Ph.D, is an Assistant Professor in the Division of Medical Oncology/Hematology, School of Medicine at the University of Louisville. Dr. Donninger is a cancer biologist studying the molecular mechanisms that are deregulated during tumor progression. Our  laboratory focuses on basic and translational research developing novel therapeutics to target these deregulated processes, which include  the oncogene K-RAS and the pro-inflammatory cytokine IL-6. We have successfully developed novel therapeutic agents to directly target K-RAS and IL-6, and our research has been presented at both a national and international level.
