Ian Stansel is the author of the novel The Last Cowboys of San Geronimo, an Amazon “Best Book of 2017,” and two short story collections: Glossary for the End of Days and Everybody’s Irish, a finalist for the prestigious PEN/Bingham Prize. He has published stories and essays in many of the country’s most celebrated venues, including Ploughshares, Salon, Joyland, Bennington Review, and Poets & Writers. He teaches Creative Writing at the University of Louisville.
