Dr. Jacob Bishop, DMD is an assistant clinical professor in the Department of Comprehensive Dentistry. He was born and raised right here in Louisville and is dedicated to serving the community where he grew up. He attended St. Xavier High School and continued his education at the University of Louisville where he earned his Bachelors and Dental degrees. While attending dental school Dr. Jacob received the Louisville Dental Society’s Professionalism in Dentistry Award and the Dr. Charles David “Buddy” Carter Memorial Scholarship for his leadership and service to the community of Kentucky.

Dr. Bishop is married to Dr. Julie Anne Bishop, MD, a Board Certified Surgical Pathologist. Together they have four beautiful children, Patrick, twin girls Maggie and Lizzie, and Jude.
