Dr. Lomboy is a dedicated obstetrics‑gynecology fellow at the University of Louisvillel School of Medicine. College of Medicine, Louisville, KY.  She completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology from the University of Tennessee College of Medicine in Chattanooga, TN.  She earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine, Carolinas Campus (2017‑2021) and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Virginia (2012‑2016), where she also completed an honors business certificate.

 

Her scholarly work spans clinical research and medical education. Dr. Lomboy has presented her research at national meetings such as the AAGL Global Congress, the Society of Gynecologic Oncology Annual Meeting, and the APGO CREOG Education Retreat, with topics ranging from surgical techniques in obese patients to the use of social media in residency applications.

 

She has received recognition for her research (VCOM Research Eureka Accelerator Grant) and leadership (Council of Osteopathic Student Government Presidents Health Service Award). Her leadership experience includes serving as the OB‑GYN resident representative on the Graduate Medical Education Committee, contributing to policy review as a student member of the AMA Medical Student Section House of Delegates, and holding officer roles in student organizations focused on honor code stewardship, global health, Hispanic community outreach, and mental‑health advocacy.

 

Overall, Dr. Lomboy combines strong clinical training with a robust record of scholarly activity and service, positioning her well for future academic and leadership roles in obstetrics and gynecology.
