Dr. Otachi is an Assistant Professor at the Kent School of Social Work and Family Science, University of Louisville. Dr. Otachi has primarily worked in the public health social work field with individuals who are disproportionately affected by substance use and comorbid physical and mental illness. Dr. Otachi’s work particularly focuses on HIV and violence prevention, as well as enhancing evidence-based, tailored interventions for substance use and mental health.
