Yi (Jasmine) Wang is an Associate Professor of Communication at the University of Louisville with a focus on new media, big data analytics, and interaction between AI and humans. Her interdisciplinary research investigates the role of social media and AI in shaping public opinion on social issues, utilizing NLP methods. Her scholarly contributions have appeared in leading journals such as Health Communication, JMIR Public Health and Surveillance, Journal of Product and Brand Management, and Accident Analysis & Prevention. Wang holds a PhD from the University of Connecticut and a Master's from Syracuse University's renowned Newhouse School of Public Communications.
