Jason C. Immekus is Professor in the Department of Educational Leadership, Evaluation, and Organizational Development, and Associate Dean of Research, Innovation, and Community Engaged Scholarship, in the College of Education and Human Development. His applied and methodological research examines the functioning of latent variable models, namely structural equation modeling and item response theory, to understand the functioning of educational and psychological measures to advance score interpretation and use. He has published in journals such as Structural Equation Modeling, Journal of Statistics Education, Educational Psychology Review, and Journal of Engineering Education, and has authored/co-authored four books and two book chapters.

Dr. Immekus brings extensive experience in community-engaged research and evaluation, partnering with regional organizations to address outcome disparities and support continuous improvement. Over the past decade, Dr. Immekus has served as an evaluator and research collaborator on funded initiatives totaling $15,464,211.62, including projects supported by the National Science Foundation and the U.S. Army, as well as federal, state, foundation, and university sponsors.

He serves in editorial leadership roles, including the Journal of Experimental Education and the Journal of Psychoeducational Assessment, and has held senior editorial appointments with Frontiers in Psychology (Quantitative Psychology & Measurement). He teaches graduate courses in statistics, program evaluation, and educational and psychological measurement.
