Dr. Bumpous is currently Professor of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery in the Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Louisville School of Medicine.   He is involved in didactic and clinical education through Multidisciplinary Tumor Board, Resident Didactic Lectures and Journal Club Contributions in the Department.

Dr. Bumpous is actively involved in educational and assessment activities nationally in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, especially with the American Board of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, but also in other professional societies as well.
