TEACHING & MENTORING

Recent Teaching Evaluations

According to my most recent teaching evaluations (2023-2024), student evaluations from the two sections of LEAD 680 (Legal Issues in Postsecondary Education), as an asynchronous delivery with a total of 48 students, were as follows -

Item                                                         Course mean
“The instructor’s teaching was …”        5.0

“My overall impression of this course was . .”    5.0

“How much did you learn from this course …”    5.0

Also, for the past five years, the mean score for “The instructor’s teaching was …” highly effective with reported means of 4.88, 4.75, 4.94, 4.82, and 5.00 – respectively. Also, my overall teaching evaluations based on student feedback for my five prior classes ranged from 4.62 to 5.00. During that period, I taught 112 graduate students in formal classes, and I directed more than 25 independent studies and 12 dissertations along with carried an advising load between 25 to 60 masters students in a given semester while also maintaining my administrative appointments.
