Jishanth Mattumpuram, MD, MSc, FACP, FACC, is an adult cardiologist and an Assistant Professor in the Division of Cardiology, Department of Medicine at the University of Louisville School of Medicine. He had eight years of training and practice experience in internal medicine in India and received additional training in Internal Medicine at Cook County Hospital in Chicago. He completed fellowship training in Cardiovascular diseases at the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Peoria, with particular interests in preventive cardiology and cardiac imaging. He obtained his Master of Science in Clinical Investigation Sciences from the University of Louisville School of Public Health and Information Sciences. He is also board-certified in Nuclear Cardiology (CBNC), Cardiovascular Computed Tomography (CBCCT), Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance Imaging (CBCMR), and Vascular Imaging (RPVI). He is a fellow and member of the American College of Cardiology (ACC) and the American College of Physicians (FACP), a member of the American Heart Association (AHA), the National Board of Echocardiography (NBE), the Society of Cardiovascular CT (SCCT), the Society of Cardiovasculer MR Imaging (SCMR) and the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology (ASNC). His clinical expertise includes preventive cardiology, echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, coronary artery disease, hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, lipid disorders, and cardiac imaging.
