Joseph Turner earned a PhD from the University of Delaware before joining UofL's faculty in 2014. His research focuses on 12th - 14th century medieval education and its shaping effects on Middle English poetry. You can read his work in Rhetorica, Chaucer Review, Rhetoric Review, Pedagogy, and Inks. He teaches courses on medieval studies and comics. He is an avid hiker, cyclist, and naturalist.
