Josh Holmes. M.D. is diagnostic radiology physician with University of Louisville Health and an assistant proffesor at the University of Louisville School of Medicine. He has served as Assistant Program Director for the Emergency Radiology Fellowship since July of 2023.

Dr. Holmes is committed to radiology education with a focus Emergency Radiology.  He has specialized in Emergency Radiology at the University of Louisville since 2017.  He helped develop and usher in the Emergency Radiology Fellowship beginning in July of 2023.

Dr. Holmes received a B.S. in Psychology from the University of Louisville in 2006.  He graduated in 2011 from the University of Louisville School of Medicine.  Continuing his time in Louisville, KY, he finished his Diagnostic Radiology residency at the University of Louisville in 2016.  Dr. Holmes completed a 1-year Abdominal Imaging fellowship at Mallinckrodt Instiute of Radiology at Washington University in St. Louis in 2017.  He has served as a faculty member for the University of Louisville School of Medicine since 2017.
